About Our Products

As well as having practical application in your yoga and meditation practice, all our meditation cushions, meditation benches, yoga mats, bolsters and small supports can provide informal and portable seating in your home. Our bolsters and support cushions are useful on your sofa, as extra support in bed, or in your vehicle.

Our Orthopedic Dog Beds, filled with organic buckwheat hulls, come in 4 sizes and include moisture-resistant liners. Our whole grain-filled neck warmers and wraps can provide comfortable warm or cold therapy for muscles and joints. They can be warmed in a microwave or conventional oven or cooled in a freezer.

Pema Design's buckwheat hull pillows and millet hull pillows are absolutely the best for getting a good night's sleep. They can be used anywhere as therapeutic support and are appropriate for all ages. We use only certified organic buckwheat hulls and millet hulls. We include a free fitted cotton pillowcase with each pillow order.

At our workshop in British Columbia , we handcraft our products with loving care. Our name, Pema, is the Tibetan sound of the Sanskrit padma, meaning lotus. The lotus flower is the traditional Buddhist symbol of training and enlightenment. Arising from our own training, our wish is to support you in your practice by providing these fine products. Our close attention to practical design and craftsmanship brings long lasting qualities and a pleasing look to our support products.
